MCPO Darryl G. Beauchamp Jr. Command Master Chief

MCPO Darryl G. Beauchamp Jr. was born in McAlester, Oklahoma. In 1996, he joined the Navy attending boot camp and Hospital Corps "A" School in Great Lakes, followed by Field Medical Service School in Camp Pendleton, California before his first assignment to 3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan. While assigned to 3rd Marine Division, he took the Reconnaissance INDOC and was subsequently assigned to 3rd Recon Company, deploying to Vladivostok, Russia with the 31st MEU.

In 1999, he transferred to the Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Pipeline. Upon completion of training, he was assigned to 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, deploying in 2003 with Task Force Tarawa participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom and again in 2004 with the 24th MEU in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In 2005, he transferred to II MEF, 2nd Force Recon Company which would later re-flag as 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion. He performed duties as a platoon corpsman and Company Leading Petty Officer deploying in 2007 in support of OEF-Afghanistan.

Upon completion of this tour, he attended the Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Course in Fort Bragg, NC and was assigned to 1st Marine Division, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion in 2008, serving as the Battalion Navy Senior Enlisted Leader for the next 3 years and deploying with the Battalion in 2010 in support of OEF-Afghanistan.

In August 2011, he transferred to Marine Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, NC, serving as the Marine Raider Regiment Senior Enlisted Leader and Command Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor, deploying twice is support of Special Operations Command North. During this tour, he attended Joint Special Operations Senior Enlisted Academy Class-9.

In July 2015, he transferred to Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport, Florida, serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.

His current assignment is as the Command Master Chief of Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC).  

Master Chief Beauchamp’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd Award), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation with "V", Navy Achievement Medal, Combat Action ribbon (2nd Award) and numerous campaign, unit and service awards.

He is married to Donna Beauchamp of Herndon, Virginia. They have two sons and one daughter, Tyler, Dylan, and Tarra.
