Vehicle Registration / Visitors

 

Vehicle Registration

Active Duty service members, dependents, civilian employees and contractors are required to register their personally owned vehicle/motorcycle within 30 days of arrival.

Vehicle registration can be completed at:

  • Police Records
  • Building 58 Virginia Dare Drive
  • MCB Camp Lejeune
  • 910-451-7737 / 910-451-3478
  • Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 3:30pm.

MCB Motor Vehicle Registration Requirements:

  • Driver’s License
  • DoD Identification Card
  • State Vehicle Registration
  • Proof of liability insurance (must meet NC minimum of 30/60/25)
  • Driver’s Improvement Course Certificate (Active Duty under age 26

MCB Motorcycle Registration Requirements:

  • All of the above requirements
  • Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course Certificate
  • Motorcycle endorsement on Driver’s License

Rental Car Passes:

  • Driver’s License
  • DoD Identification Card
  • Rental Agreement

 

Visitor Center

Authorized DoD personnel must now request installation access for their visitors either through email or at the installation’s Visitor Center. 

MCB Camp Lejeune Visitor Center

Bldg. TT-13, adjacent the Wilson Gate on Wilson Blvd.

Hours: Monday – Friday 5:00 am to 9:00pm

MCAS New River Visitor Center 

Bldg. AS-187, adjacent the Main Gate on Curtis Rd.

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm

When the Visitor Centers are closed, individuals will not have to go to the Holcomb Boulevard Main Gate at Camp Lejeune to obtain their paperwork. MCAS New River sentries will process and issue the visitor pass on site after running a background check. Expect delays.

Completed base access pass registration form can be emailed to the Wilson Gate Visitors Center at mcieast.mcb-mcasnr.dbids@usmc.mil . 

All visitor drivers MUST have their state driver’s license, valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance readily available. Rental Agreements will be required for operation of rented vehicles.
