Marines perform a weighted pack run during Phase I of the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command's Assessment and Selection course aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan 28, 2015. Marines are required to perform several weighted pack runs varying between eight to 12 miles during the course.
