The oldest and youngest Sailors with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command, cut the ceremonial birthday cake for the Navy’s 243rd birthday at MARSOC Headquarters aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 15, 2018. The oldest Sailor (right) was born in 1968 and the youngest (center) in 1998. The oldest Sailor passes cake to the youngest Sailor in a tradition that represents the transfer of experience and knowledge. MARSOC Commander, General Daniel D.
