CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The Las Pulgas fire first reported at 3:15 p.m. Thursday has grown to 8,000 acres burned and 5% contained.Evacuation orders for Camp Las Pulgas, Camp Margarita, Camp Las Flores and 32 Area remain in effect.The Las Pulgas gate remains closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles. MARSOC Identifies Marine Casualty
Master Sgt. Aaron C. Torian, 36, of Paducah, Ky., died February 15 of wounds sustained while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to 2d Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Special Operations Regiment, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command.
